Raymond & Kim Larkin CD Release Party

One of the things that is important to introducing your new album to the world is having a release party. When done right, you can have a very successful and prosperous CD release. My good friends Raymond and Kim Larkin did just that and it was a really good success. They performed a few songs from the album and they even had other local performers on their program as well. The venue was just perfect for the release and I witnessed as they sold a lot of CD’s and signed each and everyone. They also had T-shirts, 8×10 color/black & white photos to sell and sign. They used social media and mass texting to get the word out.

Just remember to wait for your product to return from the manufacturer before you have your realease. They did so, which is the reason they were able to sell so many CDs. People buy on impulse and if you have your album release with no product, you just blew your opportunity to pull in some cash from your labor.

All in all this was a successful event.
